At LiMia Photography, every Cake Smash session is uniquely tailored to reflect your baby’s style and charm — creating keepsakes you’ll treasure forever.

But we know not every parent wants the mess — so for those who prefer just a few sweet portraits to celebrate their little one’s birthday.

We also offer a Little Kids Birthday Session (faux/fake cake, no mess — just cute birthday memories).

When’s the best time for a session?

The ideal age for your baby’s 1st birthday Cake Smash is around 10 to 11.5 months old. At this stage, little ones are usually sitting and standing confidently but not yet walking — which makes it easier to capture all those adorable expressions without them running off to explore. It’s the perfect sweet spot for smiles, mess, and pure joy! 💕

If you’d prefer to keep things simple, we also offer Birthday Only sessions.

These are open to older ages too — perfect for capturing a few timeless portraits to celebrate your child’s special day, no matter their age.

Do you provide the outfits and cake?

At LiMia Photography, we take care of everything for your baby’s Cake Smash session — from the adorable outfits to the custom smash cake. We’ve thought of all the details, so you don’t have to!

Your experience is designed to be stress-free, fun, and memorable from start to finish. All you need to do is arrive, relax, and watch your little one enjoy every messy, sweet moment.

Outfits:

Available for girls & boys up to 24 months

A few additional girl outfits available up to 7 years

We recommend bringing a backup outfit just in case you don’t find the perfect fit in studio.
