WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE AND BOOK A MATERNITY SESSION?

The best time to have your maternity photo session is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your baby bump is beautifully round and visible, and you’re still comfortable enough to pose and enjoy the session.

However, every pregnancy is different — so it’s always best to book early, especially if you want a weekend slot or need time to plan outfits and styling. Many moms-to-be secure their spot as early as the second trimester to avoid disappointment.

At LiMia Photography in Cape Town, we only take a limited number of sessions per week to ensure each client gets a personalized, relaxed experience — so don’t wait until it’s too late!
