At LiMia Photography, we offer elegant, magazine-style studio portraits in Brackenfell, Cape Town. With over 8 years of experience, we create a calm, empowering space and provide flattering poses, soft lighting, and a curated wardrobe designed to make you feel radiant.

For Babies:

• 6 months and older — This is an ideal age because:
• Baby can usually sit on their own with little or no support.
• You’ll get adorable eye contact, smiles, and connection between mom and baby.
• It’s easier to capture interaction, cuddles, and giggles.

For Toddlers and Older Kids:

• Anytime! These sessions are perfect for documenting your bond at every stage. Older children can hug, play, and express emotion more freely, creating heartfelt and playful images.
  
  

For Moms:

• Flowing fabrics and elegant, draped styles(see Facebook/Instagram)
• Beautiful accessories and crowns to complete your look
• Simply screenshot your 2-3 favorites, and you’ll be able to try them on in-studio before your session.
• You’re also welcome to change your mind on the day, we’ll guide you in choosing the most flattering look for your shape and style.

For Children:

• A small selection of dresses and outfits for girls and boys up to 2 years old
• 2-3 dress options for older girls
• If your child is older than 2 years, please bring one or two backup outfits from home.

If we happen to have something in studio that fits and suits your child on the day, you're more than welcome to use it but we’ll fall back on your outfit if needed.

• No, hair and makeup are not provided, but we’re happy to recommend trusted artists close to our studio location.
  
  

• Our Mommy & Me sessions are specially designed to celebrate the unique bond between Mom and her child/ren.
• These sessions focus on capturing tender moments, connection, and the love shared between you and your children.
• For this reason, we don’t include partners
  
  

Arrival at the Studio

• You arrive at the studio in Brackenfell, Cape Town, with hair and makeup already done.

Outfit Selection

• You choose 2-3 dresses/outfits from the studio wardrobe, all specially selected for mommy & me photography.

Accessory Matching

• I will help you select accessories to match your chosen outfits (jewelry, headpieces, etc.)

Posing & Shooting

• I will gently guide you through flattering poses using soft, natural lighting — focusing on the loving connection between you and your child, with beautiful, emotive expressions.
  
  

• Delivery of images will be within 14 business days (excluding weekends/public holidays)
• You’ll receive a private online gallery with your final, edited high-resolution images
• We do not release unedited or raw images — all images for editing are handpicked and professionally edited by the photographer so that you don’t have to feel overwhelmed with choosing the best images
  
  

All bookings are done online via our website. Simply select the package you’d like, choose your preferred date and time from the calendar, and add it to your cart. Then follow the prompts to complete your booking.

Payment Options:

PayFast – Secure once-off EFT or card payment

PayJustNow – Interest-free 3-month payment plan

Payflex – Interest-free 6-week or 3-month payment option
