Creating Your Memories

Creating beautiful, timeless images takes time. Your professionally edited images will be ready for download via your private online gallery within 3 weeks after your session.

Only the number of images included in your selected package will be delivered. Unedited (RAW) images are never provided.

To ensure the highest quality gallery and a consistent editing style, all final image selections are carefully made by the photographer.

Booking Policies

1. Booking Fee & Flexible Payment Options

A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your session date and time.

Your booking fee covers consultation, planning, administration, studio preparation, reserving your exclusive appointment, and any costs incurred by the photographer before your session takes place.

To make booking easier, we've partnered with PayJustNow and Payflex, giving you the flexibility to book today and pay over time.

Choose the payment option that suits you best:

  • PayFast – Secure once-off payment.
  • PayJustNow – Split your purchase into 3 interest-free monthly payments, subject to approval and PayJustNow's Terms & Conditions.
  • Payflex – Split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks, subject to approval and Payflex's Terms & Conditions.

Bookings made via our website may be completed using PayFast, PayJustNow or Payflex, with all payment plans administered according to the respective provider's Terms & Conditions.

Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

2. Arriving On Time

Our studio operates on a carefully planned schedule with appointments booked back-to-back.

Please arrive on time and depart promptly after your session so we have sufficient time to prepare for the next client.

Please allow extra time for:

  • Traffic and road delays
  • Parking
  • Getting children dressed and ready
  • Unexpected delays
  • Hair and makeup appointments

If you have booked a professional makeup artist, please ensure you leave with enough time to arrive at the studio punctually.

Hair and makeup must be completed before arriving at the studio.

The photographer cannot be held responsible for any loss of session time due to late arrival.

3. Late Arrival Policy

If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session and fewer final images.
  • Sessions more than 30 minutes late will be cancelled and forfeited.
  • No refunds will be given for missed appointments.
  • Session times cannot be extended due to late arrival, as we must respect clients booked after you.

If our schedule allows, additional studio time may be available at R500 per additional 30 minutes, payable before your session begins. This option is entirely at the photographer's discretion.

4. Rescheduling Policy

A non-refundable and non-negotiable R750 rescheduling fee applies whenever a session is moved to another date.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal scheduling conflicts
  • Late arrival resulting in a missed session
  • No-call / no-show appointments
  • Uncooperative participants requiring another session
  • Last-minute changes

Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email to leandi@limiaphotography.co.za and will require a rescheduling form to be completed before the reschedule is processed.

Your new session date will only be confirmed once the rescheduling fee has been paid.

Should LiMia Photography need to reschedule your appointment, no rescheduling fee will apply.

5. Illness

If you or your child are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you reschedule your session.

If possible, please provide at least 48 hours' notice when requesting to reschedule due to illness. We understand that illness can occur unexpectedly, and if you become unwell on the day of your session, please notify us as soon as possible.

We work with newborns, babies, children and expecting mothers daily and cannot risk spreading illness.

If a valid medical certificate is provided, the photographer may waive the R750 rescheduling fee at their sole discretion.

Without a valid medical certificate, the standard R750 rescheduling fee will apply.

6. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to leandi@limiaphotography.co.za and will require a cancellation form to be completed before the cancellation is processed.

  • Your 50% booking fee remains non-refundable, non-transferable and non-negotiable.
  • Any remaining balance paid may be refunded only if cancellation occurs before the scheduled session date.
  • Cancellation refunds may take up to 7 working days to process.

7. During Your Session

To ensure everyone enjoys the experience and remains focused:

  • No cameras, video cameras or cellphone photography are permitted during the session.
  • The photographer cannot be held responsible for uncooperative children or adults.
  • Session outcomes may vary depending on participant cooperation.

8. Editing & Image Delivery

Professional editing includes:

  • Skin retouching
  • Flyaway hair removal
  • Teeth whitening
  • Colour correction
  • Background clean-up
  • Overall image enhancement

Advanced editing requests including head swaps, body reshaping, tattoo removal, colour changes, composites and detailed retouching are available at R250 per image.

Your professionally edited gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks after your session.

Only the number of images included in your selected package will be delivered.

RAW files are never supplied.

Prints, albums and products are only included where specifically stated.

9. Outstanding Balances

Images will only be released once your account has been paid in full.

Clients who booked using PayJustNow or Payflex through our website will receive their images according to the approved payment agreement.

10. Gallery Downloads & Image Archive

Your online gallery will remain available for 7 days after delivery.

Please download and back up your images immediately.

LiMia Photography archives completed galleries for approximately 1 month.

Should your gallery require restoration while still available in our archives, an archive retrieval fee of R750 will apply.

After the archive period has expired, images may be permanently deleted without notice.

11. Pricing

All package prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Once your booking fee has been received, your package price is secured and will not change.
