Maternity Session Information

Maternity Sessions take place at my home-based studio in Protea Heights, Brackenfell, Cape Town. You will have access to a wide range of outfits from my studio wardrobe, such as dresses, fabrics, bodysuits, crowns, neckpieces, and accessories. These sessions are typically scheduled between the 28th and 34th weeks of pregnancy. The sessions are relaxed, and I will assist you with each pose. Maternity Session Information

When is the best time to book a maternity session?

The ideal time to have a maternity session is between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. This is because during this time, your bump is usually at its most prominent and you'll still feel comfortable enough to move around and get into different poses. It also allows enough time before your due date in case your baby decides to come early.

If you're planning a session, Generally, it's recommended to book your session at least 6 - 8 weeks in advance to ensure availability and to allow for any necessary preparations, however, don't hesitate to contact us immediately if you just discovered our services, as we may have a last-minute opening that is perfect for you.

Do you provide wardrobe?

At LiMia Photography (Pty) Ltd., we are proud to offer high-end couture gowns and a wide variety of accessories such as crowns, tiaras, and jewelry for clients to make use of during their session. In-person consultations are available for a small fee to try on gowns.

Is Hair & Makeup Included?

We highly recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done to boost your confidence on the day of your session. This will also enhance the overall outcome of your images. You can book directly with Madisons Beauty Salon at 072 221 1254 or Make Up by Candy at 083 562 7228.

Where and when do sessions take place?

All sessions are done at our cozy, fully equipped home based studio located in the stunning city of Protea Heights, Brackenfell in Cape Town.

Monday to Friday 10 am - 3pm & occasionally on a Saturday morning at 9 am.

How long is the waiting period to receive the images?

You can expect your edited gallery to be ready for download via digital gallery three weeks from the date of your session which is why we recommend doing the session ahead of the birthday.

(We will only upload the number of images included in the package.

(Unedited or raw images will not be provided.)

Why Our Clients Prefer the 3-Month Payment Option via Our Website

We understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly, which is why we offer a convenient 3-month payment option to our clients. Even if you book your session at the last minute, you can still make the payment using our easy-to-use payment option. Here's how it works:

  • The first payment is due at the time of booking.
  • The second payment is due the following month.
  • The third payment is due in the month after that.

This means that you can book a session today and pay for it over the next three months, or plan ahead and split the payment for your session over three months. With this option, you can rest assured that all payments will be settled by the time of your session
