When to Book
The ideal time for your Birthday Session is approximately 3 weeks before your birthday, allowing enough time to receive your final gallery before your celebration.
As availability is limited, we recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance, especially for weekend appointments.
Who Can Join?
Collection 1 & 2
The session is designed for the birthday person only.
Collection 3
Your partner and children are welcome to join you for a few family portraits as part of the birthday celebration.
Maximum 2 Adults & 3 Children.
Family members must arrive dressed and camera-ready.
The session remains primarily focused on the birthday person, with family portraits captured toward the end of the session.

Choose your included outfit(s) from our studio wardrobe or bring your own.
Hair & Makeup
Please arrive with your hair and makeup camera-ready, as professional hair and makeup services are not included in your session.
Balloon Styling
Balloon Styling
Every Adult Birthday Session includes birthday balloons and birthday props.
Collections 2 & 3 also include a foil number balloon.
To maintain our elegant, timeless studio style, we offer a carefully curated selection of balloon colours that photograph beautifully and complement our signature editing style.
Choose one or two colours from our signature collection:
White, Black, Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, Light Pink, Purple, Red, Burgundy, Navy Blue, Mint Green or Emerald green.
Number Balloons
A foil number balloon is included with Collections 2 & 3.
Number balloons are available in Gold or Silver.
Our carefully selected balloon colours allow us to create elegant, cohesive birthday setups while ensuring every session reflects the timeless LiMia Photography style.
Studio Location
Sessions take place in our private home-based studio in Protea Heights, Brackenfell, Cape Town.
Our studio provides a comfortable, private environment where professional lighting, styling and guided posing come together to create elegant birthday portraits with a timeless finish.
Payment Options
Payment options are displayed when booking. You may pay in full or choose to split your payment over 2–3 months via PayFlex or PayJustNow, where available.
